Day two of the Isaora West Coast Tour - snowboarding at Mr. Baker and Bò bảy món at Thanh Thao back in Seattle. Today’s photos are Instagram quality because I couldn’t take the 7D up Baker in what was described as “the worst day we’ve had all year” by the lodge staff. At the very least, we got to test Isaora’s performance pieces in the most disgusting conditions imaginable and found that everything held the line fantastically. Of course, there’s always fine-tuning to be done, but that’s why we update pieces like the 3L Tech Riding Shell annually.

Thanks to Sabzi and Prometheus Brown for putting us onto Thanh Thao for dinner. It’s pretty deep in the cut, but if you are all about trying new flavors and textures and/or have never seen a Vietnamese karaoke party pop off in a strip mall parking lot, I can’t recommend Thanh Thao highly enough. Plus, you can’t get anything that comes close to their Bò bảy món in New York.

Lastly - many thanks to Joseph Teegardin at Nike New York for lacing the team up with Nike Snowboarding’s latest and greatest boots - the Zoom Ites  and Danny Kass’ pro model, the Zoom DKs.

Stay current with our progress at Isaora’s homepage and hit us up on Twitter if you’re based at one of our pit stops. You might win some of the free gear that’s taking up two bunks in our bus!

Next stop: Portland.
